After Ukraine, Jokowi will meet with Putin in Russia. Jokowi will ask Putin to stop the war.
President Joko Widodo (Jokowi) left for Germany after which he will visit Ukraine and Russia. In Germany, Jokowi will attend the G7 Summit.
"The first one will go to Germany to attend the G7 summit, where we are here as partner countries of the G7 and are also invited to attend this G7 summit as chairman of the G20 presidency," said Jokowi.
In Ukraine, Jokowi will ask Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky to open a peaceful dialogue with Russia.
"Ask President Zelensky to open a space for dialogue in order to build peace because war must indeed be stopped and also related to food supplies must be reactivated," said Jokowi in a press conference broadcast by the Presidential Secretariat YouTube, Sunday (26/6/2022).

"From Ukraine I will go to Russia to meet President Vladimir Putin. I will invite President Putin to open a dialogue room and as soon as possible to carry out a ceasefire and stop the war," said Jokowi.
