The task force will be led by the Head of the National Disaster Management Agency (BNPB) Lt. Gen. Suharyanto.
"Secondly, the president has approved the structure of the PMK handling task force which will later be led by the Head of BNPB and later represented by his representatives, including the Director General of Livestock and then the Director General of Binabangdakem Dagri, from the Deputy for Coordinating Ministry and Asops for the National Police and the Indonesian National Police," said Airlangga through the Presidential Secretariat YouTube. , Thursday (23/6/2022).
Jokowi also approved the procurement of a special vaccine for PMK. There are 29 million doses of vaccine that will be prepared in 2022.
"Then it was also approved for the procurement of vaccines specifically for this year, around 29 million doses, and all of them will be financed with funds from KPC-PEN," said Airlangga.
Jokowi, said Airlangga, also gave directions for PMK medicines to continue to be prepared. The number of vaccinators is also requested to be completed.
"All the mechanisms that must be maintained apart from the shift of animals as well as control of those who enter and leave the farm means that bio hazard through disinfectants is important because we also see that the carriers of this virus must be maintained," said Erlangga.
Regarding the replacement of animals that were destroyed due to infection with PMK, Airlangga said the government would prepare replacement costs.
"Furthermore, related to changes, especially for animals that are destroyed or forcibly killed, the government will prepare compensation, especially for MSME farmers, amounting to Rp. 10 million per cow," he said. (antara)
