Jokowi gave directions to state officials and all the people who were present to wear traditional clothes at the commemoration of the seconds of this year's proclamation. The goal is to promote and preserve the cultural wealth of the country to the world.

The Deep Meaning of the Dolomani Traditional Dress from Buton

The Buton Dolomani shirt used by President Jokowi is commonly used by the Sultan of Buton when attending an event or official ceremony of the sultanate.

The traditional dress worn by the President is in the form of a white shirt without a collar on the inside and the outside has a bright red beskap with silver beads.

For the bottom, Jokowi uses trousers in the same color as the beskap. Wearing a black and white sarong and a belt and a kris tucked into the waist.
