Ferdy Sambo's Wife Finally Became a Suspect, Threatened with the Death Penalty

Princess Candrawati is even now facing the death penalty.

The wife of Inspector General of Police Ferdy Sambo, Putri Candrawathi, finally became a suspect in the murder of Brigadier Joshua. 

The confirmation of Putri Candrawathi as a suspect was conveyed by the Inspector of General Supervision (Irwasum) of the National Police, Komjen Agung Budi Maryoto at a press conference in Jakarta on Friday (19/8/2022).

Princess Candrawati is even now facing the death penalty.

Agung said that his team was able to officially announce Putri's latest legal status after the investigation team had completed the examination and held the case.

"After conducting an examination and holding a case and establishing Putri Candrawati's sister as a suspect," Agung said at a press conference on Friday (19/8/2022).

Agung revealed that reports about the death threats and harassment that Putri had complained of had been stopped by the Criminal Investigation Unit of the Police. Investigators will then look into the criminal allegations regarding the report to the South Jakarta Police.

"The two reports were stopped by the Criminal Investigation Department, so Itsum's responsibility will be to conduct an investigative audit of the report at the South Jakarta Police. The two prisons will be investigated," said Agung.

Meanwhile, Dirtipidum Bareskrim Polri Brigadier General Andi Rian explained a number of articles that were suspected of being against Putri. The article relates to premeditated murder like her husband.

Bareskrim ensnared Putri Candrawathi with Article 340 of the KUHP subsidiary 338 in conjunction with Article 55 in conjunction with Article 56 of the Criminal Code," Andi said.

Inspector General of Police Ferdy Sambo has been named a suspect along with two aides and a household assistant and driver in the Brigadier J case. The three are Bharada Richard Eliezer or Bharada E, Chief Brigadier Ricky Rizal or Bripka RR, and Strong Maaruf or KM.

The four suspects were charged with Article 340 of the Criminal Code concerning Premeditated Murder, subsidiary to Article 338 of the Criminal Code junto Article 55 and Article 56 of the Criminal Code. They face a maximum penalty of death or imprisonment for life or up to 20 years.
