Covid-19 Task Force: Booster Vaccine Will Be a Requirement to Enter Public Facilities

Wiku hinted that the mandatory booster in public facilities would be implemented in the near future.

The spokesperson for the COVID-19 Task Force, Prof. Wiku Adisasmito, invites the public to immediately get a booster dose of Covid-19 vaccine amid the increasing number of COVID-19 cases.

The government will make booster vaccines a condition for large-scale activities or activities.

Wiku hinted that the mandatory booster in public facilities would be implemented in the near future.

"Large-scale community activities already require mandatory booster vaccines for participants, and in the future it will soon become a requirement to also be able to enter public facilities," said Wiku at the BNPB press conference Friday (1/7/2022).

"For that, please immediately do a booster vaccine and invite all family and relatives to do it immediately," he continued.

Previously, the Minister of Health, Budi Gunadi Sadikin, had mentioned the mandatory booster vaccine in public or public facilities. The Minister of Health said that this provision can be applied as a condition for entering malls, but it is still under joint discussion. (Ministry of Health, antara)
