Bareskrim ensures that the investigation of this case continues to progress and that witnesses will be examined.
The Criminal Investigation Unit of the National Police has officially named Bharada Eliezer as a suspect in the case of the death of Brigadier Joshua at the inactive Propam Headquarters, Inspector General Ferdy Sambo.
"The results of the investigation have carried out a case title, and examined witnesses and are also considered sufficient to determine Bharada E as a suspect," said Director of Criminal Investigation and Crime Brigadier General Andi Rian at the National Police Headquarters, Wednesday night (3/8).
Andi stated that Bharada Eliezer was charged with Article 338 of the Criminal Code in conjunction with Articles 55 and 56 of the Criminal Code. Bareskrim immediately investigated Bharada Eliezer as a suspect in the death of Brigadier Joshua.
Andi ensured that the investigation into this case would continue to develop and that witnesses would be examined.
Previously, Brigadier Joshua was reported dead at the residence of the Head of the Propam Police Division Inspector General Ferdy Sambo on Friday (8/7).
South Jakarta Police Chief Kombes Budhi Herdi said Joshua died because he was shot by Bharada Eliezer alias Richard.
The shooting was triggered by the screams of Inspector General Ferdy's wife, who was called by Kombes Budhi about to be harassed by Brigadier Joshua.
However, the police version of the story was opposed by the family because Joshua had bruises and broken fingers, and not just gunshot wounds.
